The Grand Valley Pony Club from Grand Junction, CO, visited the Flying Horse Ranch again this summer in August for the third (or was it the fourth?) year.  It’s very hot in Grand Junction in August and even when we think it is hot here, they get great relief from the desert

The Flying Horse Ranch is located 25 miles south of Steamboat Springs, and about four miles south of Stagecoach Reservoir off of County Road 16.

It is a three hour drive from Denver, and an hour from the Hayden airport. The Eagle airport is about 1 1/2 hours away.
